The brief

Kotech Infra is a Pune-based company delivering certified heavy mechanical fabrication, structural steel engineering and turnkey manufacturing for defence, aerospace, railways, oil and gas, construction, mining and energy.

Its buyers are engineers and procurement teams at large OEMs. They visit a supplier's website with a specific question — can this company make what we need, to the standard we need? — and they want the answer fast. The website had to answer it, then make getting in touch easy.

Designing for industrial buyers

B2B manufacturing buyers aren't browsing for fun. They're shortlisting. They look for evidence — certifications, capacity, machinery, the sectors a supplier already serves — and they move on quickly if they can't find it.

  1. Lead with capability. Say what the company makes and for whom, in the first screen.

  2. Show the evidence. Certifications, facility and machinery, without making anyone dig.

  3. Make the next step obvious. A quote request is never more than a click away.

How the site is organised

  • Industries

A section per sector, from defence and railways to oil and gas and aerospace.

  • Services

Design and prototyping, heavy fabrication and production, product development and supply chain.

  • Facilities

The machinery behind the work — fiber laser cutting, welding, plasma cutting, bending, painting and shot blasting.

  • Get a quote

A clear next step on every page.

Proof up front

In industrial B2B, trust is earned with specifics, not adjectives. The site leads with Kotech's certifications — 9001:2015, 3834-2 and 15085-2 CL1 — and the size of its operation, so a buyer can judge fit in seconds.

53,000

sq. ft. fabrication facility in Pune, presented on the site alongside Kotech's certifications.

The facilities section does similar work. Listing real machines — laser cutting, welding, plasma cutting, bending, painting and shot blasting — tells an engineer more about what Kotech can produce than any amount of marketing copy.

What we'd tell other manufacturers

  • Specifics over slogans

Certifications, capacity and machinery persuade engineers.

  • Organise by the buyer's question

Industries and services, not an org chart.

  • Keep it current

Blogs and news sections show the business is active.

  • One clear action

Every page leads to a quote request.
